Allyson Felix

Allyson Nicole Felix was born November 18 the 18th of November, 1985, located in Los Angeles. Her father Paul Felix is an ordained Minister in the Master's Seminary, Sun Valley. Her mother Marlean Felix is a teacher at Balboa Magnet Primary School. Felix's ability to compete in athletics was evident from the moment she started attending Los Angeles Baptist High School. After a few weeks of the first trial she took the sport, she finished second in 200m at the U.S. Indoor Track and Field Championship. Felix was signed to an official career at Adidas in 2003, and then enrolled at University of Southern California to learn about elementary education. Felix received her first Olympic medal at the 2004 Summer Olympics In Athens Greece. Felix ran 200m in 22.18s which set a new junior world record. The youngest winner of the 200 meters at the World Championships held in Helsinki in the year 2005. She won her medal time and time again in 2007 defeating time-tested Jamaican competitor Veronica Campbell. Felix had a steady performance in Beijing, London Rio de Janeiro, as well as Tokyo. She consistently placed in the top three of the events.
